Dying natural grass and other brush can contribute to the spread of wildfires. SYNLawn® artificial grass is proven to help prevent the spread of flame and can create a potentially lifesaving barrier for any possible approaching flame.
SYNLawn's Class A Fire Rating meets the California "defensible space" requirement for homes in high fire areas. SYNLawn helps with both because it doesn’t catch fire. It can even act as a “green” fire barrier, absorbing heat and allowing oncoming embers to burn themselves out on its fire-safe surface. Bare, open space normally associated with the “defensible space” principal cannot do this.
